Typical of Albion’s innovative style is the quick-change graphic board, developed in response to a request from a major supermarket customer for frequently changed promotions in a dynamic retail environment. Albion’s revolutionary solution utilises its ‘Easi-Fix’ extrusion technology, in which a panel or gripping edge is held firmly in place by an angled rubber blade fixed within the extrusion. Specially shaped pockets manufactured from 1mm acrylic which retain the graphics are inserted into the Easi-Fix extrusion, which is mounted onto a backboard.
This design of board enables any member of staff to replace graphics in seconds, without tools or special training. Boards can be configured according to customers’ requirements and there is even a literature holder option, which simply replaces one or more of the graphics pockets. Virtually frameless when viewed from the front, the boards also offer the advantages of lightness and minimal depth.
