At this years InStore show MediaCo will be not only be showing their extensive range of graphic solutions for retail but predicting a few new trends for 2011.  Whilst you may have seen some of these solutions before, new techniques and advances in printing technology mean they are well worth re-visiting to see how they might fit with your VM projects over the coming months.

 

Lenticular

With the explosion of 3D films and the launch of 3D TV channels, Lenticular will definitely be in the minds of visual merchandisers across all sectors of the retail industry. The technique of Lenticular printing creates a static graphic with a 3D moving image as customers walk past.   The interactive nature of lenticular is perfect for catching attention and engaging your customers in a fun way.

Whilst Lenticular is not a new product, MediaCo are now able to produce this more cost effectively and in large format which hasn’t been available before and we can advise how to adapt it to any artwork to get the best 3D effect. 

Wall graphics

If you have an edgy store with bare brick walls, or external walls to brand then wall graphics are a fantastic way to create cool displays in high volume.  The print quality is so good that it is perfect for photos and full colour graphics with the way the brick comes through adds an interesting texture.  We think the most exciting element of wall graphics is the way they can be replaced so easily to match collections, promotions and retail cycles.

Fabric

When a fabric graphic looks slick you really can’t beat it, and with the ability to print up to 3m wide this is a great way to brand large areas whilst protecting your brand with repeatability and quality.  The high quality full colour print in our easily replaceable tensioning system ‘Edge’ appears completely smooth, but for a more textured effect we offer canvas, gauze and voiles to create movement to displays.  Or how about our new range of fabric structures, branded walls and suspended shapes?  We think fabric is the most versatile option for all retail environments.  High impact with the added bonus of low installation costs.
